Choose at least 3 of these prompts, and write at least 3 sentences each:
I want the class to be aware that…
Another company / group that is involved is…
This is related to a previous presentation by ____ because…
This could affect my life or society by…
You should watch out for…
I am concerned that…
I want the class to be aware that even though news of the coronavirus may seem frightening, the world is aware of the problem and trying to stop it, from the development of vaccines to the launching of apps like this which tells us where not to go for safety. The media often presents “breaking” or negative news about the world. The truth is, there are also lots of positive things happening as well.
You should watch out for information about where the coronavirus has been located in. Finding out which places to go to and which ones not can save your life or those of your relatives and friends.
I am concerned that the app might open the path to companies or potentially governments tracking citizens. After all, the two are very similar, only one tracks diseases. If so, it could mean the end to privacy in some countries, where every move and action can be tracked and stored in data.
